Is it just me, or was the weather nice for just 1 day- and then turned cold? I mostly noticed last night when I suddenly found myself wearing a sweatshirt, and realized that a jacket was actually more necessary... So last night I went to the haunted houses at Fiesta Mall with some friends. And the reason I say "I" instead of "we", is because that might allude you to believe that my husband and I went together which was in fact, not the case. 3 years ago I loved to be scared, see scary movies, attend haunted houses and anything of the like. Then Aaron came into my life and before I knew it all of that was nixed. Any mere suggestion at something scary was immediately shot down, claiming, "Being in suspense is not my idea of a good time."
Long story short, I was the 13th wheel. Ha ha! There were 6 couples and then Sundae. It was fun and I didn't feel awkward at all. I guess I screamed enough, but definitely have been to scarier haunted houses. Pretty much when I could tell it was a little kid covered in blood and shooting an overly fake gun, it stole a little scariness... Afterwards I hadn't had my fill yet, so we went to see that new movie Quarantine. Um, let me tell you that it was so f-ing scary!! My throat hurt after one particular scene, Keara said her hand went numb from my squeezing it, and I'm pretty sure I wet my pants.
